MONROE - One person was injured in a vehicle-deer accident at about 8 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 at County M in the Town of Cadiz. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Nicholas M. Gowen, 21, South Wayne, collided with a deer. A passenger, Jennifer Jenisek, 21, South Wayne, suffered an injury but declined EMS treatment. A second passenger, Martin R. Gowen, 1, South Wayne, was not injured. Jenisek and Gowen were transported by private vehicle to the emergency room. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover with property damage at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday in the W1900 block of County F. Deputies report Allen M. Carstensen, 18, Albany, was northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn in the east side ditch. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Carstensen advised he was not injured. Carstensen was cited for operating after suspension, absolute sobriety, obstructing police, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain control, and failure to wear a seatbelt. Carstensen was released pending court.

• Deputies investigated a traffic crash that occurred Thursday. John F. Daehlin, 72, Monroe, stated he was traveling in the N1300 block of Clarno Road, Town of Monroe, when he collided with a deer. His vehicle received moderate front-end damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Claire L. Obert, 57, South Wayne, collided with a deer at about 5:30 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 east of Smock Valley Road in the Town of Monroe. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Eugene H. Andrews, 34, Darlington, collided with a deer at about 5:30 p.m. Friday on County Y west of County M in the Town of Jordan. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Amber A. Ramos, 23, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 10:30 p.m. Friday on County K north of Town Center Road in the Town of Jefferson. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Charles D. Menehan, 50, Brodhead, reported his vehicle collided with a deer at about 4 a.m. Saturday in the W700 Block of County F in the Town of Decatur. The vehicle received moderate damage to the front end and was driven from the scene.
