Monroe Police

MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of 6th Street. Police report vehicles driven by Todd A. Frase, 40, Monroe, and Selma A. Wunschel, 80, Monroe, collided in a parking lot. One person complained of an injury but declined medical attention. The vehicles received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the W5800 block of Old Argyle Road. Police report a vehicle driven by Morgan D. Harms, 28, Monroe, hit a guide wire in a parking lot. The vehicle received moderate damage and the crash caused the business to lose power. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a motorcycle accident at about 3 p.m. Friday on County F near County FF in Mount Pleasant township. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Matthew S. Jegel, 23, Orlando, Fla., was negotiating a curve when it begin to slide down the road. Jegel was ejected from the motorcycle. He sustained minor injuries but declined medical attention. The motorcycle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4:45 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 59 near Edmunds Road in Albany township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Dale R. Moulton, 52, Albany, was passing a vehicle driven by George A. Nickels, 78, Brodhead, when Nickels' vehicle began to turn left into a driveway. Moulton's vehicle received moderate damage. Nickels' vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Christine K. Nipple, 44, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 4:45 a.m. Friday in the N5200 block of County M in Adams township. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Samantha J. Koch, 18, Orangeville, collided with a deer at about 5 a.m. Saturday in the W3500 block of County KS in Jefferson township. The vehicle received extensive damage.

• A vehicle driven by Patrick F. Slattery, 67, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the N9600 block of County O in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Margaret R. Busjahn, 78, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday in the N6000 block of County J in Adams township. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Helen J. Johnson, 50, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 near Trotter Road in Adams township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Alexander C. H. Bartelt, 17, Brodhead, collided a donkey owned by William J. McHoes, 70, Monroe, at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 near Ullom Road in Cadiz township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by Lois E. Finnigan, 58, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 1 p.m. Friday on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Dillon M. Varner, 18, Blanchardville, hit a turkey at about 10 a.m. Saturday on County N in Argyle township.

• A vehicle driven by Kimberly M. McComish, 43, Shullsburg, hit a deer at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Seymour township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
