NEW GLARUS - No injuries and minor vehicle damage were reported in an accident in the parking lot of the New Glarus Elementary School at 11:13 a.m. Wednesday, May 15. A New Glarus school bus driven by Richard F. Arn, 76, New Glarus, hit a legally parked vehicle belonging to Richard Isensee, 46, Blanchardville. There were no students on the bus. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 11 in Gratiot at 4:25 p.m. Friday, May 17. David A. Evans, 59, Gratiot, was eastbound on Wis. 11, turning onto Sheldon Street, when he was rearended by Brenda M. Carter, 61, Kenosha. Both vehicles were removed by the owners.
• Alvin L. Thompson, 68, Winslow, reported at 10:42 a.m. Saturday, May 18, that he hit a deer on County D in Fayette Township.
• Renee M. Weaver, 36, Darlington, reported at 10 p.m. Saturday, May 18, that he hit a deer on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.
• Leon N. Wolfe, 69, Darlington, reported at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, May 19, that he hit a deer on Furnace Hill Road in Willow Springs Township.
• Lacey S. Paul, 27, South Wayne, reported at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, May 19, that she hit a cow on Wayne Center Road in Wayne Township.

MONROE - Bruce G. Polheber, 53, Albany, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash in the N8000 block of Wisconsin 69 in New Glarus Township at 8:36 p.m. Sunday, May 19. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
