Monroe Police

MONROE - Julie A. Mason, 29, Argyle, was cited for inattentive driving at 3:45 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of 8th Street, following a two-vehicle collision. Reports said Mason hit a vehicle driven by Brandy A. Busjahn, 29, Monroe. Minor injuries were reported by one, but medical attention was declined. There was minor damage to both vehicles.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at 11: 26 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of North Main Street in the Village of Monticello. Reports said Robert E Buehl, 85, Monticello, was attempting to back out of a parking stall when he hit a vehicle, driven by Brian K. Adams, 50, Monticello, who was stopped for pedestrians crossing the road. Adams' vehicle sustained moderate damage but was driven from the scene. Buehl's vehicle received minor damage to the rear.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries reported from a two-vehicle accident at 2:29 p.m. Friday on Wis. 78 in Wiota. Reports said Paul R. Drye, 22, South Wayne, was traveling southbound on Wis. 78, when he lost control of his vehicle, and struck a legally parked vehicle owned by Wiota Milling Company in the Wiota Mill parking area. Drye was cited for inattentive driving and driving a vehicle with no insurance. Both vehicles received moderate damage.

- No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 11 at 12:07 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg. James M. Farrey, 24, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way while turning left. The accident remains under investigation.

- No injuries reported from a one-vehicle accident at 2:52 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 78 in the Town of Gratiot. Linda J. Considine, 61, Darlington, was traveling northbound when she lost control and traveled across the road and into the ditch, where she hit a driveway culvert. The vehicle became airborne, struck a mailbox, and snapped off a utility pole before coming to a rest in the field with power lines entangled in the wheels. Considine was removed from the vehicle by responding deputy. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.
