MONROE - Both drivers reported injuries but declined EMS after a two-vehicle crash on Wuetrich Road at Shueyville Road in the Town of Clarno at 4:31 p.m. Wednesday, May 9. Sherry A. Boeke, 43, Orangeville, Ill., was driving southbound on Shueyville Road when she stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with Wuetrich Road. As she made a left turn, Brianna J. Myers, 20, Freeport, Ill., was headed westbound on Wuetrich Road and applied brakes but could not avoid a collision. Myers' car was moderately damaged. Boeke's car was severely damaged. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Mark J. Baumeister, 49, Madison, reported at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, that he hit a deer on County F in the Town of Fayette.
