Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported in a tractor vs. truck crash in the W7100 block of County P, Town of Clarno, at 2:17 p.m. Adam L. Stewart, 36, Monroe, was westbound in a tractor hauling a hay rack and was attempting to turn into a driveway. As Stewart was turning, his tractor was hit by a truck driven by Debra A. Champion, 52, Winslow, who was attempting to pass him. The tractor was not damaged in the crash while the truck was moderately damaged. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

• Ashley H. Klapper, 25, Albany, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W4000 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Sylvester, at 7:50 p.m. Klapper was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit her vehicle. The vehicle sustained very minor damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• Brian R. Schilling, 30, Darlington, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Furnace Hill Road, Willow Springs Township, at 5 a.m.

• Donald L. Lee, 64, Shullsburg, reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Johnson Road, Shullsburg Township, at 7:30 a.m.

• A deputy is investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Wilkinson Road, Benton Township at 8:15 a.m.

• Nathan A. Wagner, 17, Benton, sustained injuries in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Wisconsin 11, Gratiot Township, at 9:13 p.m. Wagner was westbound when his vehicle left the roadway and went into the ditch, hitting an embankment and rolling the vehicle over. Wagner was transported via Rural Medical Ambulance to Lafayette County Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Deputies, Gratiot First Response and Gratiot Fire Department assisted at the scene.
