MONROE - Deputies were called to a two-vehicle crash in the N6300 block of Wisconsin 69 in Mount Pleasant Township at 11:52 p.m. Tuesday, March 19. Jason L. McNett, 39, Monroe, was southbound when he lost control in a snow drift and collided with a vehicle driven by Xhemal Rushiti, 49, Monroe. McNett and a passenger reported no injuries. Rushiti also reported no injuries from the crash. Both vehicles were severely damaged. The McNett vehicle was towed. The Rushiti vehicle was driven from the scene. Monticello police assisted at the scene.
While deputies were investigating the McNett-Rushiti crash, a second crash happened at the same location at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 19. Cheryl M. Betts, 55, Monroe, lost control in a snow drift and her vehicle hit a guardrail. She reported no injuries. The vehicle was severely damaged and driven from the scene. There was no apparent damage to the guardrail.
Trina L. Severson, 26, Brooklyn, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 8:14 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, on Wis. 59 south of Towns Road in Sylvester Township. She was westbound when she lost control of her vehicle on a patch of ice while negotiating a curve. The vehicle slid off the west side of the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed.

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident in a business parking lot on Miner Way in Shullsburg at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 20. Matthew T. Seffrood, 31, Gratiot, and Michael D. Roddick, 38, East Dubuque, were backing out of parking stalls, failed to see each other and their vehicles collided. The vehicles sustained minor damages and were driven from the scene.
