Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Saturday on the Tri-County Recreation Trail in Clarno township. Deputies report an ATV driven by Cassie A. Byrne, 26, Afton, was traveling east on the trail when she turned around to check on an animal she hit. She accelerated and the ATV left the trail, hit a tree and overturned, coming to rest on top of Byrne. She was taken to the Monroe Clinic by Green County Emergency Medical Services.

• A vehicle driven by Christopher T. Hoesly, 31, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 8 p.m. Saturday in the N4400 block of County F. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Hayley S. Saalsaa, 37, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday on County C. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by J. Andrew Carlson, 48, Darlington, collided with a deer at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday in the W8500 block of County C. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Lori A. Modaff, 27, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 7:30 a.m. Monday on Wisconsin 92 near Schaefer Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 11 a.m. Friday on County F in Willow Springs township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Michelle M. Kehm, 40, Blanchardville, left the road and hit a bridge then slid back across the road and came to rest in the intersection of County F and Mount Pleasant Road. Kehm was taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County by Rural Medical Ambulance and later flown by helicopter to a Madison hospital.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:45 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in Wayne township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jason T. Jensen, 36, Monroe, left the road and hit a guardrail due to water on the road. He was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Mark R. Scott, 25, South Wayne, hit a deer at about 11 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 78 in Wiota township.

• A vehicle driven by Kyle Hoffman, 23, Benton, hit a deer at about 9:30 p.m. Monday on County W in New Diggings township.
