NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 10 a.m. Saturday in a parking lot of a business on Wisconsin 69. Officers report David G. Soland, 44, Blanchardville, was backing out of a stall when his vehicle struck a motorcycle trailer owned by James R. Tilton, 64, Groveland, Ill. Both vehicles received minor damage and were driven from the scene.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of West Milbrandt Road and Wisconsin 104 in the Town of Albany. Green County deputies report a vehicle operated by Thomas J. Alisankus, 50, Evansville, was westbound on West Milbrandt Road in Rock County and avoided a deer that ran into the road. Alisankus continued to watch where the deer went and missed the stop sign at Wisconsin 104. Alisankus' vehicle traveled through the intersection, went into the west ditch and through a cornfield until it struck a tree. Alisankus was transported by Evansville EMS for injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. The Rock County Sheriff's Department, Evansville Police, Fire and EMS also responded.

• A deer collided with a vehicle driven by Charles D. Howden, 18, rural New Glarus, at about midnight Saturday on County H at County N, Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damages and was removed from the scene by Howden.

• The Lafayette County Sheriff's Department assisted Green County deputies with taking a report of a vehicle vs. deer crash that occurred on County A at the Green/Lafayette county line in the Town of Adams at 8 p.m. Saturday. At the time of the news release, further details were not available.

• A deer collided with a vehicle driven by Dixie A. Lyght, 45, De Forest, at about 9:30 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 near County H in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
