DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6 p.m. Tuesday on Galena Street, Darlington. Deputies report Jiao Lin (Amy West), 33, Darlington, was northbound on Center Hill Road when the brakes on her car failed. Lin's car traveled through the intersection of Center Hill Road and Galena Street and struck a rock retaining wall before striking a tree.
The vehicle was a total loss. Rural Medical Ambulance Service and the Darlington Fire Department also responded.
