GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• No injuries were reported after Anthony G. Stevens struck a deer in the W6000 block of Wisconsin 11, Monroe township.

• Minor injuries were reported at 3:12 p.m. after a two-vehicle crash in the N6900 block of Wisconsin 69, Washington township. Payton C. Kennedy, 19, Morrison, Ill., was headed northbound when she slowed to turn into a driveway. Halee M. McNett, 29, Mesa, Ariz., collided with the back of the vehicle. McNett's airbags deployed and she was wearing her seatbelt. Though she received injuries, McNett declined EMS. Kennedy was not injured and was wearing her seatbelt. Both vehicles received severe damage and were towed from the scene. McNett was cited for operating without a valid license.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On May 23:

• Police investigated a car versus deer crash at 9:07 p.m. with property damage near the intersection of Elmer Road and Valletelle Drive.

On Saturday:

• No injuries were reported at 3:46 a.m. after America Jarquin-Morales, 42, Darlington, crossed the centerline and left the roadway on the right shoulder and then re-entered the roadway before leaving the road on the left shoulder, striking the ditch and overturning on County G, Belmont. Jarquin-Morales was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle, operating without proof of insurance, failure to notify police of an accident and operating left of center. Jarquin-Morales was subsequently arrested for operating without a valid license and transported to the Lafayette County jail where she was booked and released.

• No injuries were reported at 7:56 p.m. after Christa M. Cook, 40, Apple River, Ill., reported striking a deer on Mullen Road, White Oak Springs.

On Monday:

• Merlyn D. Cook, 61, Benton, struck a guardrail after leaving the roadway at 1:08 p.m. on Wisconsin 11, New Diggings. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Cook was transported to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa. Benton First Response, Benton Fire Department, Hazel Green Ambulance and the State Patrol assisted on scene.

• Justin L. Johnson, 30, Darlington, lost control of a motorcycle at 1:42 p.m. owned by Jason E. Devoe and heading southbound on Wisconsin 78. Johnson slid into a ditch and was transported to the Lafayette County Memorial Hospital. He was cited at 1:42 p.m. for operating without a valid motorcycle license and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
