New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in the 500 block of Durst Road at 2:03 p.m. Friday, July 27. Taylor Nealis, 17, New Glarus, was backing a 2010 Chrysler van from a driveway when he hit a legally parked 2008 Chevrolet Silverado registered to Bartelt Enterprises of Albany. Both vehicles were damaged.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Brian E. Venden, 34, Brodhead, reported no injuries after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on County E south of Trail Road in the Town of Decatur at 6:01 a.m. Sunday, July 29. Venden was driving a pickup truck northbound when he told deputies he fell asleep. The truck drifted left of center and collided with a guy-wire for a utility pole. The truck was moderately damaged and towed.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Milwaukee Street in Argyle at 10:33 p.m. Friday, July 27. Tracey M. Zsido, 40, Argyle, hit a legally parked vehicle owned by Cheralee C. Schliem, 40, Blanchardville. The vehicles were moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- Michael L. Brummel, 54, Argyle, reported at 9:53 p.m. Sunday, July 29, that he hit a deer on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Wiota.
