MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of 9th Street and 18th Avenue. Police report Alyce H. Cleeremans, 93, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by Christopher D. Koncki, 25, Monroe. The cause of the accident was reported as brake failure. Koncki reported minor injuries and declined medical attention. Koncki's vehicle received minor damage.

Stechschulte, 17, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by Delores B. Barner, 83, Monroe. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Stechschulte was cited for inattentive driving.

DARLINGTON - Kyle D. Calvert, 20, Mineral Point, reported hitting a deer at about 5 p.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 23 in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
