DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Tuesday on County W in New Diggings township. Paul Simonds, 45, Madison, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was transported by Hazel Green Ambulance to Lafayette Memorial where he was treated and released. Simonds was then transported to the Lafayette County jail where he was booked and released. Benton Fire and First Responders also responded to the accident.
