MONROE - Two women were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 7:07 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 at 2nd Street in Monroe. Ruth Schrade, 82, Monroe, reportedly hit a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Freeport woman. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Schrade was cited for causing injury by failing to yield right of way from a stop sign.

MONROE - On Monday:

• Duwayne Lowell Harried, 55, Albany, reported hitting a tree that had fallen onto the road at 4:59 a.m. in the N3500 block of County F in the Town of Decatur. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage with airbag deployment and was towed.

• Laurel Beth Hefty, 53, Albany, was injured after she hit a tree that had fallen onto Bump Road at 6:35 a.m. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage with airbag deployment and was towed. Albany EMS transported her to the hospital.

• Wendy Marie Scholl, 46, Argyle, reported hitting a deer at 9:32 a.m. in the W8100 block of County Y in the Town of Jordan. No injuries were reported. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
