Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Two people were injured in a motorcycle versus deer accident at about 7 p.m. Sunday in the W8200 block of Pilz Road. Deputies report a motorcycle driven by Steven T. Ranum, 48, Monroe, collided with a deer. The motorcycle skidded across the road. Ranum and his passenger, Kim E. Ranum, 46, Monroe, sustained injuries and were taken to the Monroe Clinic. The motorcycle received minor damage and was towed.

• One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 6 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 11 west of Brodhead Airport Road in Decatur township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Harris L. Speich, 71, Orfordville, crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by Christine L. McGraw, 47, Brodhead. Speich told deputies he fell asleep. McGraw was taken to the Monroe Clinic for injuries. Speich was cited for inattentive driving. The vehicles received moderate damage and were towed.

• A vehicle driven by Lien Le Polizzi, 53, Browntown, collided with a deer at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the W5700 block of County C. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Hannah M. Hull, 16, Monroe, collided with a deer at about 10 p.m. Sunday in the W6800 block of Wisconsin 81. The vehicle received moderate damage.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that was reported at about 11 a.m. Friday on Hoesly Drive. Police report a vehicle owned by Jori J. Wirth, Monticello, received damage to the left rear-view mirror.

• Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that was reported at about 6 p.m. Saturday in a parking lot on 6th Avenue. Police report a vehicle owned by Stacy M. Koss, 20, New Glarus, was struck in the rear. The vehicle received minor damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in car versus horses accident at about 9:45 p.m. Friday on County W in Benton township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Patricia E. Usyak, 74, Des Plaines, Ill., hit several horses. She was taken to a Dubuque, Iowa hospital. Her vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
