Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries and no damage to vehicles were reported after a two-vehicle collision at about 3:45 p.m. Jan. 2 at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Sixth Street. Davey K. Lee, 74, Brodhead, struck a vehicle operated by Lisa M. Carmody, 46, Barneveld. Lee was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending court.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9 a.m. Dec. 31 at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and First Street. Deputies report that a vehicle driven by Peter G. Ott, 53, New Glarus, struck a street light pole after the vehicle slid on the snow and ice-covered roadway. The vehicle was driven from the scene.

n No one was injured on a one-vehicle accident at about 10:30 p.m. Jan. 3 on Exeter Crossing Road. Deputies report Justin D. Sandlin, 26, Monticello, lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle received moderate damage. The investigation was turned over the Green County Sheriff Deputies.

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Ken W. Warner, 24, Brooklyn, collided with a deer at about 1:45 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 3, on County E just north of Brooklyn-Albany Road in Brooklyn township. The vehicle received moderate damage to the driver's side bumper and was driven from the scene.
