MONROE - One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 6th Street. Police report an vehicle operated by James A. Notter, 23, Browntown, collided with a vehicle operated by Rodney G. Kloster, 56, Brodhead. Notter complained of minor injures and declined medical treatment. The vehicles received moderate damage. Kloster was cited for reckless driving.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of 8th Street. Police report Julie N. Dittmar, 46, Lena, Ill., collided with a vehicle operated by Sarah L. Devine, 23, Winslow, Ill., Both vehicles received moderate damage. Devine was cited for failure to yield right of way while making a left turn.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 p.m. Thursday on Ullom Road north of Wis. 11 in Jefferson Township. Deputies report a vehicle operated by David C. Taylor, 61, Monroe was northbound on Ullom Road when he lost control of the vehicle he was operating. The vehicle ran into a tree causing severe damage. Taylor and his passenger, Lance C. Taylor, 36, Monroe, were transported to Monroe Clinic Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Browntown Fire and Monroe EMS responded to the crash.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 59 north of County FF in the Town of Sylvester. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Jeffrey S. Leonard, 27, Evansville, was southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control and overturned. Leonard sustained a minor injury but did not want medical treatment. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene. Leonard was arrested for second-offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and jailed. Additional citations are pending.

• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 92 at County W in the Town of Exeter. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Andrew Jay Martin, 29, Albany, was southbound when he lost control while negotiating a curve. The vehicle entered the ditch, overturned one time, and came to rest on its passenger side. Martin sustained injuries but declined medical attention at the scene. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Martin was cited for driving too fast for conditions and operating with a suspended driver's license. He was released pending court. The roads were snow covered and slippery at the time of the crash. Belleville EMS and Fire Department assisted at the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4:45 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 104 north of King Road in the Town of Brooklyn. Deputies report Christina L. Tway, 28, Albany, was northbound on Wis. 104 when she lost control on the snow-covered roadway, slid across the southbound lane and collided with the west ditch. Her vehicle overturned and came to rest on its passenger side. Tway claimed of no injuries; however, Brooklyn fire department and EMS were on scene and transported her as a precautionary measure. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3:30 a.m. Friday at an establishment on County KK. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brandy A. Busjahn, 27, Monroe, was stopped in the parking lot when a white van side-swiped the passenger side of her rear bumper and tail light area. The van sped off westbound on County KK. The crash remains under investigation. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 a.m. Friday on Wis. 39 west of Drammen Valley Road in the Town of York. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Trisha R. Pernot, 24, Madison, was westbound on Wis. 39, when she lost control while negotiating a curve on the snow-covered, slippery roads. Pernot over corrected the vehicle causing it to enter the ditch and overturn on its side. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed. Pernot was arrested for first-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. She was also cited for prohibited alcohol concentration and failure to maintain control. Pernot was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2 p.m. Thursday on Park Road north of Decatur Road in the Town of Decatur. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Richard P. Mahnke, 51, Albany, was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 2:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of County C and County D in Mt. Pleasant township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Lester M. Kempfer, 43, Belleville, was northbound on County D. The vehicle slid through the intersection and went into the ditch. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• Deputies report Allan C. Covert, 51, Brodhead, was operating a Brodhead ambulance that was transporting a patient to the Monroe Clinic Hospital at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 near Wis. 59 in the Town of Monroe, when a deer collided with the ambulance's front passenger side, causing minor damage. No one was injured in the crash and Covert was wearing his seatbelt. The ambulance was driven from the scene.

• Deputies report a deer collided with a vehicle operated by Karl J. Lueschow, 39, rural New Glarus, at about 6:45 a.m. Friday on Pioneer Road near Klassy Road in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

  

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported in a snowmobile accident at about 8 p.m. Wednesday on Bridge Street in the Village of Gratiot. Deputies, Rural Medical Ambulance and Gratiot First Response responded. Quinn N. Price, 46, Beloit, was arrested for operating a snowmobile while intoxicated, and cited for refusal for test and careless operation of a snowmobile. Price was jailed.

• No one was injured in a motor vehicle accident at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday on Fort Defiance Road, in Willow Springs township. No other information was available.

• Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. No other information was available.

• Mark M. Haag, 46, Mineral Point, reported striking a deer at about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday on County O in Kendall township.

• Robin E. Schuetz, 45, Darlington, reported striking a deer at about 7:15 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township.

• George T. Bowman, 59, Verona, reported striking a road sign at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township.
