MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 6:15 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Eighth Street. A vehicle operated by Amy S. Powers, 32, Orangeville, collided with a vehicle operated by Steven E. Zschernitz, 55, Monroe. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Powers was cited for failure to yield right of way while making a left turn.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 9 p.m. Sunday in the W5900 block of Durst Road. John C. Hefty, 18, Blanchardville, lost control of his vehicle on the ice-covered road. His vehicle overturned in the yard of a residence. The vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 8 a.m. Friday on Cottage Road near Golf Course Road in Decatur township. Deputies reported a pickup truck driven by Cody J. Buroker, 17, Brodhead, was traveling east on Cottage Road, when a van driven by Adam Richard Suelflow, 17, Brodhead, backed into the road from a private driveway. The vehicles received minor to moderate damage.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover around 1:52 a.m. Saturday on Haddinger Road north of Mings Road. Randy A. Gerber, 19, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle as he crossed a railroad track, causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle received severe damage. Gerber was cited for driving too fast for conditions. He was released pending court.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 11 east of Dill Road in Cadiz township around 4:45 a.m. Friday. Deputies' investigation revealed a 1999 Dodge Ram pick-up owned by a subject out of South Wayne was east bound, when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, left the highway, and overturned. The driver fled the scene without reporting the crash. The investigation found the truck was stolen from the residence in Lafayette County. The truck received extensive damage. The truck was towed to the Green County Sheriff Department pending Lafayette County and Green County investigations.

• No one was injured in an unreported accident on County N near Buehler Road Friday around 2:30 a.m. Deputies determined a 1997 black Ford Explorer had been northbound when the driver lost control and over corrected, causing the vehicle to overturn in the ditch. The driver fled the scene without reporting the crash. The vehicle had extensive damage and was impounded at the Green County Sheriff Department pending the crash investigation. The driver of the vehicle is still being sought.

• A vehicle driven by Pat A. Ryan, 55, Dodgeville, hit a deer around 6 a.m. Friday on Wis. 69 near York Center Road in York township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

DARLINGTON - A vehicle driven by Adam C. Reichling, 17, Darlington, hit a deer Saturday around 3 p.m. on County F in Darlington township.
