Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Kristin E. Kenseth, 27, Madison, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Town of Brooklyn. She told deputies she was westbound on Wisconsin 92, negotiating a curve east of Hughes Road, when she had a sneezing fit. When she tried to get into the glovebox for a tissue, the vehicle veered into the ditch, hitting a snowbank. The impact caused undercarriage damage to the vehicle. It was towed out of the ditch and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Tristen D. Symons, 16, Shullsburg, and a passenger were transported to Southwest Health Center in Platteville for minor injuries they sustained in a rollover accident on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of New Diggings reported at 7:54 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16. Symons was westbound when he lost control on the slippery roads. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. The Benton Fire Department, Benton First Response and Hazel Green Ambulance also responded to the scene.

• Nicolas A. Chiaverotti, 20, Darlington, reported no injuries from a one-vehicle accident on County H in the Town of Elk Grove at 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16. He was southbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, lost control and slid into a snow embankment, causing the airbags to deploy. The vehicle was towed. The Cuba City Fire Department and Cuba City Ambulance also responded to the scene.
