MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:15 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of 8th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Amanda Vanover, 26, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Maragly Torres, 22, Freeport, Ill. Vanover was cited for failure to yield the right of way. The vehicles received moderate damage.

MONROE - Brandon W. Schlapbach, 24, Madison, was arrested for second-offense drunken driving, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and driving after suspension following a one-vehicle accident at about 1:45 a.m. Friday in the N5100 block of County J. Deputies report his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit an embankment. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.
• A vehicle driven by Lorraine M. Eastman, 20, New Glarus, collided with a deer at about 6:15 p.m. Friday in the W5000 block of County W in New Glarus township. The vehicle received minor damage.
