Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash reported at 7:29 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, in the Town of Decatur. Kristyl D. Turner, 36, Brodhead, was eastbound on Golf Course Road and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with County E when she was rearended by Hayley E. Stauffacher, 20, Brodhead. The ice-covered road was a contributing factor in the accident. Turner's vehicle sustained minor damage, and Stauffacher's vehicle sustained moderate damage. Both were driven from the scene. Brodhead police assisted at the scene.

• Cheri Ann-Thomas Grover, 42, Brodhead, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 7:42 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, in the Town of Decatur. Grover was westbound on Country Club Drive, negotiating a curve just before the intersection with Golf Course Road, when she slid off the ice- and snow-packed road and collided with the stop sign at the intersection. The vehicle sustained moderate front driver's side damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - David M. Bardell, 50, Dodgeville, reported no injuries at 6:32 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, after he hit a deer on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Gratiot. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.

• JoAnn Geissbuhler, 48, Darlington, reported no injuries at 6:13 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, after she hit a deer on County G in the Town of Kendall. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
