Green County Sheriff

• Michael S. Porterfield, 43, Evansville, was injured but declined treatment at the scene of a one-vehicle crash at 8:19 p.m. on County F north of Decatur Albany Road in the Town of Albany. He lost control while negotiating a curve on the snow and ice-covered road. The vehicle entered the ditch backwards, colliding with an embankment. The vehicle sustained moderate rear damage and was towed. Porterfield was cited for not wearing a seatbelt. The Albany Fire Department and Albany EMS assisted at the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - David A. Carpenter, 71, Darlington, reported no injuries after a one-vehicle rollover accident at 10:53 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, on Walnut Road in the Town of Wiota. He was westbound when he lost control on the snow-covered road. The vehicle slid around and into the ditch, where it overturned. It was severely damaged and towed. The Wiota Fire Department, Wiota First Response and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• Austin T. Landberg, 34, Glen Ellyn, Ill., reported no injuries after a one-vehicle rollover accident at 9:21 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot. He lost control due to ice on the road, and the vehicle overturned. The vehicle was towed. The Gratiot Fire Department, Gratiot First Response, Rural Medical Ambulance, Lafayette County High Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.
