MONROE - No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 8:04 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 to 8th Street and 15th Avenue. A bus operated by Donald G. Amphlett, 64, Monroe, slid on the ice-covered road and collided with a legally parked vehicle owned by Eva M. Penniston, Monroe. The accident is still under investigation.

MONROE - No injuries were reported after a one-vehicle accident at 6:43 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 in the N6600 block of Biggs Road in the Town of Adams. A vehicle driven by Brandon W. Watkins, 19, Argyle, was northbound on Biggs Road when he lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve. The vehicle slid off the east side of the road and hit a utility pole. The vehicle had moderate damage and it was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported after a one-vehicle accident at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 in the W800 block of Bump Road in the Town of Albany. Autumn Rae Nelson, 18, Beloit, lost control of the vehicle she was driving and entered the ditch. The vehicle had damage and it was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported after a one-vehicle accident at 8:31 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 in the W2200 block of County EE in the Town of Albany. Andrew W. Jesson, 29, Albany, was eastbound on County EE when he lost control of his vehicle on icy roads. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and rolled over at a slow speed. The vehicle had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported after a one-vehicle accident at 11:41 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 in the W6400 block of Farmers Grove Road in the Town of New Glarus. Tawni R. Stenberg, 52, New Glarus, was eastbound, going down a small hill on Farmers Grove Road when she lost control of the vehicle on to the ice-covered road. The vehicle began to fishtail until she entered the ditch on the north side of the road and hit a tree. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
- No injuries were reported after a one-vehicle accident at 8:17 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at the intersection of County CC and County W in the Town of Exeter. Thomas P. McGuire, 56, Monticello, was southbound on County CC, approaching County W, when he was unable to stop for the stop sign due to road conditions and slid through the intersection. The vehicle entered the north ditch, where it rolled over onto its side. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene. McGuire was cited for failing to fasten seatbelt.
- No injuries were reported after a one-vehicle accident at 9:23 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 in the W3700 block of Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Sylvester. Genevieve Kay Balch, 16, Brodhead, was eastbound on Wis. 11 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the snow-covered roads. The vehicle slid into the south side ditch, collided with a divided highway sign and came to rest in a snow bank. The vehicle had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Deputies responded to a complaint of a vehicle in the ditch at 7:27 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 on Hickory Drive in the Town of Belmont. A Belmont School District bus had slid off the roadway and into the ditch. No injuries were reported and the students were transferred to another bus. The bus had no damage.
- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 on Spring Brook Road in the Town of Wiota. Aric J. Metz, 35, Browntown, was driving a pickup truck while pulling a cattle churt westbound on Spring Brook Road when he lost control of the cattle chute due to the icy road conditions. The chute began fishtailing, then collided with the side of the pickup truck and overturned in the roadway. The chute remained attached to the truck by the safety chains that were in place. The truck had moderate damage from the chute hitting it and it was driven from the scene.
- Matthew R. Sauer, 28, Darlington, reported no injuries after his vehicle slid off the roadway at about 3:54 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 on Furnace Hill Road in the Town of Willow Springs. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
- Daniel A. Werren, 28, South Wayne, reported hitting a deer at 5:56 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.
- Josh R. Penniston, 29, Belmont, reported hitting a deer at 7:54 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 on County I in the Town of New Diggings. No injuries were reported and the vehicle had moderate damage.
