MONROE - On Thursday:

• Kevin L. Miller, 34, Albany, was cited at 4:04 a.m. for failure to keep a vehicle under control, hit-and-run to property adjacent to a highway, and failure to notify police of an accident after his vehicle was in an accident in the W200 block of Atkinson Road, Albany Township. Miller reported he was eastbound when his vehicle entered the south ditch, hit four fence posts, several small trees and a township sign before getting stuck in the ditch. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene. A passenger, Ashley M. Peterson, 31, Madison, was cited for open intoxicants as a passenger and possession of marijuana.

• Harold M. Hammond II, 43, Pearl City, Ill., was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident in the 200 block of N. Mill Street, village of Browntown, at 4:21 a.m. Hammond was northbound when he lost control of his vehicle due to the icy roadway, left the roadway and hit a pillar. The vehicle was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

• Kendrick J. Eichelkraut, 24, Monticello, was cited at 7:07 a.m. for criminal driving after revocation and jailed for bail jumping as he had consumed intoxicants while being on a no-drinking order required by bond for charges of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an incident that occurred on May 15, according to online court records. Eichelkraut had fled the scene of a crash in the W5100 block of Airport Road, New Glarus Township. The vehicle was westbound when Eichelkraut lost control and entered the ditch. The vehicle received minor damage.

• Dianna L. Bradley, 34, Stoughton, was treated for minor injuries following a one-vehicle accident in the W1900 block of Wisconsin 92, Brooklyn Township. Bradley was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle and slid across the roadway into the north ditch where the vehicle hit two trees. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene. Deputies, Belleville police, Brooklyn Fire Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted at the scene.

• Jeff A. Calkins, 49, Albany, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 59 at County F, Albany Township, at 9:04 a.m. Calkins was southbound and lost control in a curve, causing his vehicle to slide across the road and hit a guardrail. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• Angela D. Stauffacher, 35, Mineral Point, was uninjured in a one-vehicle rollover crash on County G, Willow Springs Township, at 7 a.m. Stauffacher was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle, hit a culvert and overturned onto the driver's side. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.

• One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11, city of Shullsburg. Taylor L. Ubersox, 16, Shullsburg, was westbound when he stopped to make a left turn and was rear-ended by a vehicle being driven by Dennis J. Blum, 45, Shullsburg. Ubersox was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were damaged and towed from the scene. Blum was arrested at 4:58 p.m. for driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked and was cited for failure to have control of a vehicle. Blum was transported to the Lafayette County jail and later released. Shullsburg Ambulance, Shullsburg Fire Department and Department of Natural Resources wardens assisted at the scene.
