Monroe Police

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 8th Street. Police report Belinda M. Zoellick, 28, Browntown, struck a vehicle driven by Gregory E. McGinnis, 58, Monroe. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 6th Street and 26th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Adulfo Velasquez-Velasquez, 26, Milwaukee, struck a vehicle driven by Helen M. Loveland, 86, Monroe. The vehicle received moderate damage. Velasquez was cited for driving without insurance.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of County KS and County K in Jefferson Township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Susan K. Smith, 48, Monroe, was southbound when she failed to negotiate a curve and entered the ditch. The vehicle traveled up an embankment and down a small hill before coming to rest on County KS. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. Monroe EMS assisted at the scene.

- Deputies were dispatched at about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday to the parking lot of the Pleasant View Complex in the Town of Monroe for a report of a hit-and-run incident. Deputies report an unoccupied, parked vehicle owned by Rhonda K. Schlafli, 58, Argyle, had been hit by an unidentified vehicle sometime after 2 p.m. Monday. The vehicle received moderate damages. The incident remains under investigation.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday on County G in the Town of Belmont. Deputies report Justin R. Dull, 24, Woodman, was backing out of his driveway and backed into a ditch. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- Gerald F. Kent, Jr., 33, Apple River, reported striking a deer at about 7 p.m. Tuesday on Mau Road in the Village of South Wayne. The vehicle received moderate damage.
