Green County Sheriff

MONROE - No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at about 2:45 a.m. Monday on Wisconsin 11/81 near County KK in the Town of Sylvester. Deputies report a Tony J. Gratz, 33, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle slid down an embankment and struck a tree. The vehicle received moderate damage and will be towed at a later time due to the weather conditions. The ice-covered roadway was a contributing factor in the crash.

- No injuries were reported at about 4 a.m. Monday on Wis. 69 near Advance Road in the Town of Clarno. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Anivar Perez Perez, 26, Winslow, control of his vehicle. The vehicle entered the east ditch, and rolled over onto its side. The vehicle received moderate damage and was left at the scene to be towed at a later time due to the weather conditions. The ice-covered roadway was a contributing factor in the crash.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Deputies reported a number of vehicles sliding off the roadways on Monday:

- Rachael M. Wenberg, 18, Kenosha, about 12:40 a.m.,

U. S. 151 north of Belmont, moderate damage.

- Kelsi M. Blosch, 20, Darlington, about 7:15 a.m., County G at Hirsbrunner Road, moderate damage.

- Steven J. Fine, 55, Madison, about 4:15 p.m.,

U. S. 151, minor damage.

- Stephanie M. Hersberg, 23, Fon du Lac, about 4:30 p.m. U. S. Highway 151, moderate damage.

- No injuries were reported from a one-vehicle accident at about 9:15 a.m. Monday on Dump Road. Deputies report Dorena E. Menzemer, 62, Hazel Green, lost control negotiating a curve. The vehicle spun around and into the ditch, striking a tree. Icy roads were a contributing factor. The vehicle received moderate damage.

- Deputies were dispatched at about 5:15 p.m. to Wis. 23 in the Town of Darlington and at about 6:30 p.m. to U. S. 151 in the Town of Belmont for reports of vehicles that slid off the roadways. Those vehicles were not located.

- A deputy reported his squad vehicle was stuck by a passing vehicle, while he was stopped for a vehicle slide-off, at about 4:45 p.m. on U. S. 151. A Wisconsin State Patrol officer assisted with the accident report.
