MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around noon in the 100 block of West Eighth Street. Police report vehicles driven by Dennis O. Thompson, 61, Monroe, and Chelsea M. Siegenthaler, 19, Monroe, collided in a parking lot. The vehicles received moderate damage.

• Police responded to a two-vehicle accident around 1 p.m. Thursday at 16th Avenue and 19th Street. Police report vehicles driven by Brock J. Hanson, 18, Monroe, and Ricky S. Haworth, 53, Monroe, collided. No further information was available.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - One person was injured in a car versus bicycle accident around 3:30 a.m. in the W3700 block of Wisconsin 11/81 near Balls Mill Road. Deputies report a passenger side mirror on a vehicle driven by Levi A. Scheidegger, 69, Brodhead, hit the leg of a bicyclist, Michael E. Beltran, 45, Monroe. Beltran sustained a minor injury to his leg. The bike was properly equipped with a flashing red strobe light in the back and a headlight in front. The vehicle received minor damage.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 2:45 p.m. Thursday at County C and County W in Exeter township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Kent M. Kurt, 36, Dane, hit a vehicle driven by Ashley K. Smith, 18, Monroe. Both vehicles received minor damage. Kurt was cited for an improper left turn.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the N3900 block of Ladwig Road. Deputies report a feed truck driven by Danny G. Welch, 51, Argyle, met a vehicle driven by Lance C. VanMeer in a narrow area of the road. VanMeer's vehicle hit the feed truck's back tires and caused a flat. The case remains under investigation.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 1 p.m. Thursday in the W7400 block of Franklin Road. Deputies report a Cadiz township road grader driven by Walter E. Grossen, 64, Browntown, was moving snow and backed into a vehicle driven by Melanie F. Signer, 40, Monticello. Signer's vehicle received moderate damages.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the N4800 block of Gutzmer Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brian C. Koster, 27, Madison, slid on some ice, left the road and overturned. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Edward J. Picrick, 61, Belleville, hit a deer around 5:45 p.m. Thursday near Sandy Hook Road. The vehicle received minor damage.

• A vehicle driven by Eldon E. Evans, 62, Darlington, hit a deer around 6:30 p.m. in the W9200 block of Wis. 81. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Robert L. Hosch, 27, Monroe, hit a deer around 10:45 p.m. Thursday in the W5700 block of County P. The vehicle received minor damages.
