MONROE - On Thursday, Jan. 31:
- Anne M. Mason, 51, Freeport, was uninjured after she lost control of her vehicle at 8:53 a.m. while northbound on Wisconsin 69 north of Hefty Road in the Town of New Glarus. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and into the ditch. The frozen snow caused minor damage to the vehicle's undercarriage. Weather conditions were a contributing factor in the accident.
- Shirley J. Andrews, 76, Juda, was uninjured after she lost control of her vehicle at 9:14 a.m. on an ice-covered patch of County S north of Preston Road in the Town of Jefferson. Her vehicle slid off the east side of the road and hit a mailbox. Her vehicle was moderately damaged and towed.
- Jason A. Thomas, 33, Darlington, was uninjured after he lost control of his vehicle at 1:58 p.m. on an icy patch of County C near Marshall Bluff Road in the Town of Mount Pleasant. The vehicle left the road and hit a fence, causing minor front-end damage. The vehicle was towed.
- Michael C. Perrin, 42, Albany, was taken to Monroe Clinic for treatment of injuries he sustained in a two-vehicle accident reported at 2:23 p.m. at Wis. 59 and Ladwig Road in the Town of Sylvester. A garbage truck driven by Joseph J. Graves, 47, Monroe, was eastbound on Wis. 59 and starting to turn north onto Ladwig Road when a pickup truck driven by Perrin attempted to overtake the garbage truck on the left and the two vehicles collided. The pickup went off the north side of the road and hit a utility pole and an embankment. Graves was uninjured, as was Perrin's passenger. The pickup was severely damaged and towed. The garbage truck sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
- Dale A. Isely, 41, Monroe, was extricated from his vehicle and taken to Monroe Clinic for injuries he sustained in a crash at 4:39 p.m. on Clarno Road north of Melvin Road. Isely told deputies he lost control on the icy road and his vehicle went down an embankment and overturned. It was severely damaged and towed.
