Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Dylan M. Schwitz, 19, Monroe, sustained a minor injury and was issued a warning for inattentive driving at 4:55 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, when deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Five Corner Road north of County P in the Town of Jefferson. Schwitz reportedly fell asleep at the wheel, and his vehicle drifted into the ditch and hit a tree. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

- Ronald D. Kubly, 55, of rural Monroe, reported no injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 5:07 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, after he collided with a deer in the N5000 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of Washington. The vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- Douglas G. Craker, 42, New Glarus, reported no injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 6:32 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, after he collided with a deer in the N9100 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of New Glarus.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, after Michael R. Jones, 29, Cobb, reportedly lost control of his vehicle on black ice. His Honda Civic was severely damaged and towed from the scene.

- Shawn D. Kuhl, 40, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of New Diggings.

- Jill M. Devries, 44, Orangeville, Ill, reported hitting a deer at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.
