Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Danny M. Henke, 60, Monroe, reported at 8:32 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, that he hit a deer on Wisconsin 69 south of County H in the Town of New Glarus. Henke and a passenger were not injured. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Shane M. Stutzel, 22, Rockton, Ill., reported at 9:39 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, that he hit a deer on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- Mark A. Evenstad, 52, Monroe, reported at 12:12 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, that he hit a deer on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- A deputy and Darlington Police responded at 12:47 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, after a semi truck lost control and jack-knifed due to slippery conditions on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington. The Lafayette County Highway Department put tailings on the road, and the semi was able to be moved.

- No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash at 3:19 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, after Samuel J. Kendall, 45, Darlington, failed to negotiate a corner in snowy conditions and lost control of his 2011 Chevrolet pickup truck, slid down into a ditch, crossed a creek and hit an embankment. The truck was moderately damaged and towed from the scene.

n A hit-and-run was reported at 8:48 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, on Breeze Terrace Street in the Village of Argyle. The incident remains under investigation.

- Jason M. Kieler, 22, Madison, reported at 9:56 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, that he hit a coyote on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.
