MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of 5th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Betty M. Rygh, 70, South Wayne, collided with a vehicle driven by Kathleen J. Rufer, 49, Monroe. Rygh was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Thursday at Wisconsin 69 and 6th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by William K. Golackson, 53, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Margaret C. Marti, 76, Monroe. The vehicles received minor damage.

GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - Three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident at about 5 p.m. Thursday in the N3500 block of Wis. 69 in Monroe township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Megan L. Norton, 16, Monticello, hit a vehicle driven by Sherri M. Severson, 43, Browntown. A vehicle driven by Mark A. Knoebel, 45, Belleville, hit Severson's vehicle. Norton and her passenger, Katelyn M. Nelson, 14, Monticello, and Severson were taken to Monroe Clinic Hospital. Norton's vehicle and Severson's vehicles were towed. Knoebel's vehicle received moderate damage. Norton was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 59 west of County F in Albany township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Stephanie D. Gempler, 49, Albany, left the road, went down an embankment and rolled due to slippery road conditions. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7 p.m. Thursday in the W4600 block of Wis. 11 in Monroe township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Eric J. Lostroscio, 22, Ingleside, Ill., hit a patch of ice, spun, went into a ditch and rolled. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.

• Deputies are investigating a one-vehicle accident that was reported at about 10:15 p.m. Thursday on Patterson Road at Bethel Road in Monroe township. Deputies report a vehicle hit a guardrail. The driver left the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Peter L. Hagen, 23, Argyle, collided with a deer at about 1 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 81 near Klondike Road in Jordan township. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed.

• A vehicle driven by Jennifer M. Olson, 32, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 5:15 a.m. Thursday on Wis. 69 north of Gutzmer Road in Mount Pleasant township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Ryan L. Truong, 21, Juda, collided with a deer at about 5:30 p.m. on Wis. 11 east of Balls Mill Road in Sylvester township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Ann M. Goers, 34, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 10 p.m. Thursday in the N9600 block of Wis. 69 in New Glarus township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 23 at Fort Defiance Road in Willow Springs township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Laini Medina, 16, Mineral Point, crossed the center line due to slippery road conditions and slid into a vehicle driven by Todd A. Rood, 30, Darlington. Medina and Rood were taken to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries. Medina was cited for failure to have control of a vehicle. The vehicles received extensive damage and were towed.

• Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Peter Meysing, 52, Ortonville, Mich., slid on the slippery road, went into a ditch and overturned. Meysing and his passenger, Michael E. Logan, 50, Ortonville, Mich., were taken to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
