MONROE POLICE

MONROE - No injuries were reported at 8:01 a.m. Wednesday after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of North 18th Avenue and Wisconsin 11. Michael L. Reasa, 69, Monticello, struck a vehicle in the opposite lane while attempting to make a left turn. Reasa was cited for failure to yield right-of-way. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• No injuries were reported at 4:49 a.m. after a one-vehicle accident in the W8400 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. Zachary D. Conners, 23, Hollandale, lost control of his vehicle and slid into a ditch, down an embankment and into four fence posts before coming to a halt. Conners' vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 7:06 a.m. after a one-vehicle accident on Wis. 104, Town of Brooklyn. Travis M. Bercherer, 32, Juda, lost control of his vehicle and slid off the roadway and into some trees. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8 a.m. after Chelsea R. Severson, 18, Argyle, struck an embankment after losing control of her vehicle on County C, Town of Adams. Her vehicle was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 8:18 a.m. after Tyler G. Grindle, 24, Monroe, slid into a ditch on County J, Town of Monroe. Grindle, who left the scene after the accident, was cited for driving with a suspended license and registration. His vehicle sustained minor damage.

• No injuries were reported at 11:16 a.m. after Brandon S. Richardson, 26, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle after one of its tires ruptured in the N2100 block of Haddinger Road, Town of Monroe. Richardson's vehicle struck a fence after entering a ditch. Richardson was cited for driving with a suspended license, non-registration of a vehicle and driving without vehicle insurance. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:35 p.m. after Abbey L. Hertzke, 36, Monticello, struck a deer in the N4000 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A driver was injured at 6:22 a.m. after a one-vehicle accident on County XX, Town of Belmont. Laqun D. Ingram, 26, Platteville, lost control of his vehicle and entered a ditch before overturning. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 6:55 a.m. after Jacquelyn A. Ostby, 57, Argyle, struck a curb on Faymont Road in Argyle after losing control of her vehicle and overturned. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• A vehicle in a ditch was discovered at 7 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

• A stuck semi-truck was reported at 7 a.m. on South Galena Road, Town of Benton.

• No injuries were reported at 7:44 a.m. after Michael A. Coe, 29, Platteville, lost control of his vehicle on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont, entered a ditch and struck a stone embankment. Coe was cited for driving without vehicle insurance, with improper vehicle registration and with a suspended license. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

• No injuries were reported at 5:28 p.m. after Cindy M. Mendehall, 51, Madison, struck a deer on County G, Town of Belmont. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
