MONROE - On Tuesday:
Albany police officer Robert A. Ritter was uninjured in a squad car vs. deer accident that occurred in the 600 block of North Mechanic Street, Village of Albany, at 12:59 a.m. Ritter was southbound when two deer ran into the roadway and hit the squad car he was driving. The squad sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
Non-life-threatening injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in the W4400 block of County C, Town of Mt. Pleasant Township. Aaron C. Homb, 32, Blanchardville, was eastbound when he saw a westbound vehicle cross the center line into Homb's lane. Homb attempted to dodge the vehicle by entering the westbound lane when the second vehicle driven by Christopher M. Arn, 30, Monroe, swerved back into the westbound lane and hit the side of Homb's vehicle. Homb's vehicle entered the ditch, rolled over and came to rest on its side. Arn reported to law enforcement that while he was westbound he looked down at his shifter and when he looked up he found himself in the opposite lane and swerved back into the westbound lane hitting the Homb vehicle, causing Arn's vehicle to enter the ditch where it came to rest. Homb was transported to UW Hospital for treatment of his injuries. His vehicle sustained severe overall damage and was towed from the scene. Arn was uninjured in the crash and his vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene. Arn was cited at 4:59 p.m. for driving left of center, criminal driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance. He was released pending court.
Non-life-threatening injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wisconsin 81 and County N, Town of Monroe, at 5:13 p.m. Nicole L. Strahm, 18, New Glarus, was stopped at the intersection and then entered the intersection into the path of a vehicle driven by Mack J. Stein, 23, Argyle. Stein's vehicle hit Strahm's vehicle and then entered the ditch and hit a tree. Strahm and her passenger were uninjured. Stein was injured and transported by Monroe EMS to Monroe Clinic for treatment. Both vehicles were severely damaged and were towed from the scene. Strahm was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
Janelle L. Johnson, 27, Darlington, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on County MM north of Wisconsin 11, Town of Cadiz, at 7:07 p.m. Johnson was southbound on County MM when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the passenger side of her vehicle. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was driven from the scene.
Hannah K. Samson, 19, Monroe, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred in the W9000 block of County B, Town of Cadiz, at 10:10 p.m. Samson was westbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the driver's side of her vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - Mark Mullen, 54, Nora, Ill., reported hitting a deer with his vehicle on Fritzges Road, Wayne Township, at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday.
