SHERIFF

MONROE - On Monday:

• A driver and her passenger were injured at 2:02 p.m. after a one-vehicle accident in the W8200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz. Glenda J. Smith, 31, South Wayne, lost control of her vehicle and struck a bridge before leaving the scene without reporting the crash. Smith visited a local hospital to treat minor injuries she and her passenger, Daniel F. Baumgartner, 29, South Wayne, sustained in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.

• No injuries were reported at 5:21 p.m. after Richard L. Tullis, 54, Monroe, struck a dog in the N7000 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington. His vehicle sustained very minor damage and was driven from the scene. The status of the dog is unknown.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - A deputy helped extricate a vehicle from a ditch at 2:44 a.m. Monday on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.
