MONROE - On Tuesday:
Nancy L. Krier, 62, Monroe, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash in the W5800 block of Robey Road, Town of Washington, at 6:27 a.m. Krier was westbound when she reportedly lost sight of the roadway, left the roadway and entered the north ditch. The vehicle hit an embankment and then traveled about 200 feet into a field before stopping. Krier was transported via Green County EMS to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries. The vehicle sustained minor front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
Debra K. Haeft, 63, Evansville, was uninjured in a vehicle vs. dog accident that occurred in the W3200 block of Greenbush Road, Town of Sylvester, at 1:18 p.m. Haeft was eastbound when two dogs ran into the roadway from the ditch. Haeft reported she was unable to avoid hitting one of the dogs. The dog, owned by Steven K. Thomas, was taken to an area vet for treatment. Haeft's vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene. An investigation continues.
