MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:30 Wednesday in the W.5300 block of Town Center Road. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Earnest R. Ruegsegger, 40, Monticello, left the road, went into a ditch and hit a snow bank. Ruegsegger was taken to the Monroe Clinic Hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.
- A vehicle driven by Frederick W. Fink, 76, Darlington, collided with a deer at about 9 p.m. on Wisconsin 81 at Rat Hollow Road. The vehicle received moderate damage.
