MONROE - On Tuesday:
Keith A. Jackson, 46, Monroe, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 81 near County J, Town of Monroe, at 6:27 a.m. Jackson was westbound on Wis. 81 when a vehicle in front of him braked abruptly and Jackson pulled into the north ditch to avoid a collision. Jackson's vehicle hit a driveway embankment and came to a sudden stop. He was transported via Monroe EMS to Monroe Clinic Hospital ER for treatment of his injuries. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene. Deputies and Monroe Fire Department assisted at the scene.
Lori J. Brown, 46, Barneveld, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident that occurred in the W7300 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan, at 6:38 a.m. Brown was eastbound when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front of her vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.
Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash on Wis. 81 south of Clarence Lane, Town of Spring Grove. Natalie M. Canon, 19, Brodhead, was northbound on Wis. 81 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy roadway. Canon reported that her vehicle spun around and came to a stop in the roadway when a northbound vehicle driven by Spencer A. Sowatzke, 17, Brodhead, hit her vehicle. Canon reported injuries but declined medical treatment. Sowatzke was not injured. Both vehicles were moderately damaged and were towed from the scene. Canon was cited at 7:30 a.m. for driving too fast for conditions. Deputies and Brodhead police, fire and EMS responded to the accident.
Rachel L. Schardt, 34, Monroe, was uninjured but her passenger, Sebastian G. Schardt, 2, Monroe, sustained a minor injury in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on Wisconsin 11 west of Schuetz Road, Town of Monroe, at 5:03 p.m. Schardt was westbound on Wis. 11 when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front of her vehicle. The two-year-old was injured but did not require medical treatment. The vehicle was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene.
Phillip C. Porterfield, 70, Brodhead, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle crash that occurred on County F north of Park Road, Town of Decatur, at 10:01 p.m. Porterfield was southbound on County F when a deer ran into the roadway and hit the front driver-side of his vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:
Julie A. Geissbuhler, 23, Darlington, was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident on County F, Darlington Township, at 10:08 a.m. Geissbuhler was eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve, crossed the center line, went down an embankment and hit a fence. The vehicle was damaged and was towed from the scene.
Carol J. Saunders, 79, South Wayne, was uninjured after her vehicle hit a parked vehicle and a building on East Monroe Street, Village of South Wayne, at 4:44 p.m. Saunders was backing up and hit the unattended vehicle and then hit the building. The vehicle was severely damaged and was towed from the scene.
William L. Nethery, 77, Shullsburg, sustained non-life-threatening injuries after his car hit him on West Water Street, Shullsburg, at 6:37 p.m. Nethery had failed to put the car in park and it rolled backwards causing the car door to knock Nethery down and the tire hit his leg. Nethery was taken to the hospital by Shullsburg Ambulance to treat his injuries.
