MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:30 p.m. Friday on Horan Road near County CC in Brooklyn township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Drew W. Mather, 16, Albany, failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch and hit a tree. Mather sustained injuries and was taken to the emergency room by private vehicle. The vehicle Mather was driving received extensive damage and was towed.

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Friday at 18th Avenue and 4th Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Shawn L. Koss, 27, Monroe, collided with a vehicle driven by Erik A. Huschitt, 36, Monroe. A 5-year-old child in Koss' vehicle sustained very minor injuries. Koss was cited for inattentive driving and released pending court.
