GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on County N near Tucker Road in Washington township. Deputies report a tractor pulling a piece of farm machinery was being driven by Duane A. Bernet, 45, Monticello, when the equipment hit a guardrail. The equipment stayed attached to the tractor but went into the opposite lane and hit a vehicle driven by Josh E. Argo, 20, Monticello. Argo's vehicle's received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Lori B. Harrison, 30, Albany, collided with a deer at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in the N6700 block of Wisconsin 104 in Albany township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• A vehicle driven by Duwayne L. Fenner, 45, Monticello, collided with a deer at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on County EE east of County X. The vehicle received moderate damage.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday on Fork Road in Darlington township. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Brenda Brumley, 45, Blanchardville, failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and went through a fence. Brumley was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to report an accident.

• A vehicle driven by Carrie Davis, 36, Darlington, hit a deer at about 10 a.m. Tuesday on County F in Darlington township.Andrew Hellpap 8/26/09
