DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Aug. 22:
• A deputy responded to County W in New Diggings Township at 8:06 a.m. to assist with traffic control until the Lafayette County Highway Department cleared the road of a tree that had blown down.
• Tyler J. Peterson, 17, South Wayne, reported no injuries at 9:10 p.m. after he hit a deer on Mau Road in Wayne Township. His vehicle sustained moderate damage.
