Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Benjamin T. Hale, 20, of rural Brooklyn, was injured but declined medical treatment after deputies responded at 7:15 p.m. Monday, April 2, to a motorcycle crash on County C at Horan Road in the Town of Brooklyn. An unidentified southbound vehicle on Horan Road reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way onto County C as Hale approached the intersection. Hale veered to avoid a collision and lost control on the loose gravel road, sending his motorcycle sideways. He was wearing a protective jacket and a helmet with an eye shield. The motorcycle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Charles F. Wick, 49, Gratiot, reported at 9:03 p.m. Monday, April 2, that he hit a deer on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Wiota.
