GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - On Thursday:
• No injuries were reported after John C. Elmer, 77, Monroe, struck a turkey in the N3800 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Sylvester.
• No injuries were reported after Carey G. Schneider, 76, New Glarus, struck a deer in the N6900 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF
DARLINGTON - On Thursday:
• No injuries were reported at 5:58 a.m. after Nicole C. Elsen, 25, Janesville, struck a guardrail on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. Elsen was cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage.
• No injuries were reported at 6:20 a.m. after Annette M. Vick, 60, Warren, Ill., struck a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
• A driver suffered minor injuries at 11:34 p.m. after Cole R. Gollmer, 18, Darlington, struck a telephone pole on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington. Gollmer was transported to a local hospital and was cited for driving while intoxicated, underage drinking, possession and transport of alcohol, failure to maintain control of his vehicle, driving without vehicle insurance and a seatbelt violation. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
