GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - A vehicle driven by Jordan J. Riemer, 18, Brodhead, collided with a deer at about 9 p.m. on County F, north of Park Road in Decatur township. The vehicle received moderate damage.

• No one was injured when a snowplow crashed into a car at about 6 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 at North Klondike Road, Town of Jordan. Deputies reported both vehicles were northbound on Wis. 81 and had pulled over for an ambulance enroute to another traffic crash. After the ambulance passed, a Green County Highway Department snowplow driven by Gregory D. Hilliard, 37, Monroe, backed up to continue plowing and struck a vehicle driven by Marcia J. Garrison, 50, Darlington. Garrison's vehicle received moderate front-end damage and the snowplow received minor damage to the salt-dispensing unit on the rear of the truck. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday in the N4400 block of Wis. 69. Deputies reported Deborah Krauss Smith, 53, Monroe, was southbound in the Town of Monroe when she lost control of her vehicle on the ice-and-snow-covered roadway. The vehicle then struck a guardrail. The vehicle received moderate damage and Smith drove from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover at about 6 p.m. Saturday, in the N8800 block of County CC in the Town of Exeter. Deputies reported Daniel R. Doyle, 39, Belleville, lost control of his vehicle, which rolled over and came to a stop on its wheels. The vehicle sustained severe damage, and was towed from the scene. Doyle was arrested for second offense operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, cited for failure to maintain control and failure to notify police of an accident.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday on County N, south of Tucker Road, Town of Washington. Deputies reported Melanie F. Segner, 41, Monticello, lost control on the snow/ice-covered roadway. The vehicle crossed the centerline, struck a signpost, then a tree. The vehicle received moderate damage and was removed from the ditch by a tow truck.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday in the W7300 block of Wis. 39, Town of York. Deputies reported Timothy D. Weier, 18, Blanchardville, stated he lost control of his vehicle on the snow/ice-covered roadway. The vehicle struck a traffic stop sign on the intersection of Poplar Grove Road and Wis. 39. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 10:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 69, north of Peerless Road, in Town of New Glarus. Deputies and the New Glarus Police Department responded. Investigation determined that Rodger L. Jameson, 55, rural Monroe, was northbound on Wis. 69 when he lost control on the snow-covered roadway and collided with a guardrail. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 10 a.m. Sunday on Golf Course Road, near Lake View Circle, Town of Decatur. Deputies reported DeLyle D. Davenport, 68, Brodhead, was westbound on Golf Course Road when he lost control of his vehicle and slid off the south side of the road, drove into a yard, and struck a tree. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Argyle township. Deputies reported A vehicle operated by Gregory Jelle, 32, Monroe, was westbound when an eastbound vehicle driven by Nicholas Amorose, 20, Monroe, lost control on slippery roads and entered the westbound lane; the vehicles collided. Amorose and his passenger were transported by Argyle EMS to Monroe Clinic for treatment. Jelle and his passenger, Brandi Moen, 31, Monroe, were transported by Green County EMS to Monroe Clinic for treatment. Both vehicles received severe damage and were towed. Argyle Fire Department also responded.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Milwaukee Street in the Village of Argyle. Deputies reported Joan Root, 57, Argyle, backed from an alley when she failed to yield for traffic and struck a vehicle driven by Sheila Miller, Argyle. Root was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Root was cited for failure to yield right of way and unsafe backing. Root was jailed and later released.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover at about 5:45 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 151 in Kendall township. Deputies reported a vehicle driven by Travis Friese, 33, Beaver Dam, lost control on slippery roads, left the roadway and rolled over in a ditch. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. Deputies reported a vehicle driven by Malee Xiong, 21, Appleton, lost control on slippery roads and overturned. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. The Belmont Police Department assisted at the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday on County E in Darlington township.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - Deputies reported a vehicle driven by Gwendolyn Weber, 18, South Wayne, lost control on slippery roads and struck a bridge. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in Lamont township. Deputies reported a vehicle driven by Francis McQuaid, 86, Darlington, lost control on slippery roads and left the road.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 78 in Argyle township. Deputies reported a vehicle driven by Laura Hanson, 45, Argyle, left the road due to slippery conditions. The vehicle was driven from the scene.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday on Second Street near Eighth Avenue. Deputies reported Jarod S. Kennedy, 41, rural Monticello, was driving south and struck a parked vehicle owned by Kimberly R. Pillar, 29, New Glarus. Pillar's vehicle received moderate damage; Kennedy's vehicle received severe damage. Kennedy was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants, operating a vehicle with a prohibited alcohol concentration and for inattentive driving. He was released with a scheduled court date.
