Tom B. Ritschard, age 59 of Argyle, WI passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Monroe Clinic in Monroe, WI. He was born on November 6, 1955 to Delbert H. and Darlene J. (Boeck) Ritschard in Monroe, WI. Tom graduated in 1973 from Argyle High School. He was united in marriage to Dorothy E. Flanagan on May 22, 1976 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Argyle, WI. Tom grew up in rural Argyle. Tom and Dorothy first began farming on the Ritschard family farm in rural Argyle before working at Ritschard Brothers Shirtprinting in Argyle. He later owned and operated Heartland Graphics in Monroe. Tom retired in 2014 and began working for Thunder Bridge Trading Company of Argyle and Monroe.
Tom is survived by his wife Dorothy at home; his mother Darlene Bernet, Argyle, WI; his children: Nicole (Curt) Allison, Argyle, Stephanie (Jeff) Hochhausen, New London, WI, Paul (Anna) Ritschard, Monroe, WI, and Kurt Ritschard, Argyle; 8 grandchildren: Natalie, Jenna, and Brooke Allison, Hannah Hochhausen, Lyla, Isaiah, and Ezekiel Ritschard, and Harper Ritschard; brothers: Cal Ritschard, Columbia City, IN, Dean (Jackie) Ritschard, Monroe, Scott (Tammy) Ritschard and Keith (Tina) Ritschard both of Argyle; sisters: Lorna Mick, Argyle, and Ann (Jerry) Thompson, Dodgeville, WI. He was preceded in death by his father on August 6, 2014; his father and mother-in-law: Chester and Augusta Flanagan; and his step-father: John Bernet.
Tom loved following all of his grandchildren's activities over the years and traveling with his wife and family. He enjoyed playing golf as a family. Tom was an avid Argyle Orioles fan and looked forward to scorekeeping during Argyle girl's basketball games while watching his children coach the team. He was the Adams Township Treasurer for a number of years. He was a true Packers, Badgers, and Brewers fan. Tom will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Argyle High School with Rev. Daniel L. Bohlman of Apple Grove and Yellowstone Lutheran Churches officiating. A luncheon will follow the memorial service. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until time of service at Argyle H.S.
