ORANGEVILLE - Terri L. Metz, 48, of Orangeville passed away July 24, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Terri was born on July 25, 1965, in Freeport, IL to Clifford "Jr." and Betty (Barr) Rabe. Terri married the love of her life, Todd Metz, on November 27, 1982 at the United Methodist Church in Orangeville, IL. She graduated from Orangeville High School in 1983. She worked for Colony Brands as a data center supervisor for 32 years. She enjoyed participating in the Relay for Life of Green County WI. Terri enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening, reading, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Terri is survived by her husband Todd, of Orangeville, IL; their three children Amanda (Dan) Showers of Monroe, WI, Gary Metz of Blanchardville, WI, and Kyle (Taylor Runkle) Metz of Orangeville, IL; grandchildren Lauryn Lestarge, Kane Showers, Amelia Metz, Kylie Austin, and Dustin Metz; parents Jr. and Betty Rabe of Orangeville; siblings Dan (Stacey) Rabe of Winslow, IL, and Darci (Tim) Elgin of Orangeville, IL; and her mother-in-law Diana Bowen of Orangeville, IL.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church, in Orangeville, IL.
A visitation will be held from 4-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church.
Pastor Judy Sherk and Pastor Steve Barr will co-officiate the service.
Burial will be at Sunset Acres in Orangeville, IL.
A luncheon will follow the services.
