MONROE - The Monroe Police Department has some leads into who might have vandalized pop machines but doesn't have anyone in custody.
Four pop machines were damaged Tuesday morning. Police received reports of vandalism between 7:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The machines were located at Lucky 7, Car Quest, the Swiss Colony employment office and the Medicine Mart.
Monroe Police Chief Fred Kelley said he suspects all four incidents are related, but the department doesn't have any definite information right now.
Kelley wouldn't say if the machines were simply vandalized or if money was taken from them.
Kelley said his department will continue to investigate the incidents.
