LENA - Sharon L. Lobdell, age 59, passed away on Saturday February 20, 2010 at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on March 24, 1950 in Dodgeville, WI to Orlo H. and Mildred (McConnell) Kraus. She graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in the class of 1968. She married Duane A. Lobdell on July 13, 1968 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lena. Sharon worked as a sales clerk for Leamon Furniture and a EMT-A with Leamon's Ambulance Service and also worked as a secretary for Leamon Funeral Home for many years. She then worked for Buss Boyz Cellular. She was a member of the Grace Free Methodist Church in McConnell. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and especially her fishing trips to Hayward, WI and taking care of her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband Duane, three children; Patricia (Fred) Cass of Mt. Carroll, IL, Jacqueline (Mike) Gassman of Lena, IL and David Lobdell of Lena, IL. Four grandchildren; Kaytlyn, Kari and Kristin Reed and Maverick Cass. Three Step-grandchildren, Shelby, Madalyn and Emma Cass. One Sister; Marjorie (Don) Holmes of Monroe, WI and one Brother James W. (Marion) Kraus of Bozeman, MT. Mother-In-Law; Doris Lobdell of Lena, IL. . Special friends Len and Sharon Potts of Monroe, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Father-in-law; Paul Lobdell.

A memorial service will held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10:30 AM. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 4:00 till 8:00 PM. at the Leamon Funeral Home in Lena, IL

Officiating will be Pastor Roger Hurlbut and Ernie Stabenow.

Cremation Rites have been accorded and a memorial has been established in her name.
