Sandra J. Parkki
Sandra J. Parkki, age 74 of Brodhead, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1937 in Chicago, IL; the daughter of Wilbur and Anna (Dahl) Parkki. She graduated from Senn High School in Chicago, IL, and received her Bachelors Degree from Milton College. Sandy was a teacher with Parkview School district in Orfordville for 30 years, and also worked part time for Dungarvin and REM in Madison. Sandy enjoyed reading, TV, movies, and eating out.
She is survived by 3 children: Greg (Sandie Lenz) Thatcher of Ft. Atkinson, Jeff (Lori Fero) Thatcher of Whitewater, Kim (William) Schwellenbach of Brodhead; 2 grandchildren: Landon and Bronson; nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Delores Stratton.
A celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Everson Funeral Home, Brodhead. Sandy's request was that everyone dress casual and comfortable.
