Ron Baldwin of Kelly Lake, formerly of Monroe, WI, died Friday, February 25, 2011. Ron was born March 29, 1932 in Milwaukee to Nicholas and Agnes (Bednarz) Baldwin. He attended Milwaukee schools and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in journalism. Ron spent most of his life working in advertising and writing.

In 1956, he married Kathryn Bartz and together they had five children. In 1986, he married Carol Haddox. Ron and Carol operated a boarding and breeding kennel and a field-dog training facility in Monroe for 13 years before moving to Kelly Lake.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Carol. He is also survived by his ex-wife, Kathy Fitzgerald; his children and their families: Scott and Rose Baldwin and their sons Michael and Nicholas; Christopher and Renee Baldwin and their sons Brendan and Brede; Leslie Ghirardelli and her daughters Anna and Tessa; Magrit Burke and her children Monica and Matthew; and Dean and Daryle Baldwin and their daughter Lilly. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Nina and Don Solberg. Finally, he will be missed by his two springer spaniels, Belle and Ree.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Aggie Baldwin; his brother, Richard Baldwin, and sister-in-law, Sharon Baldwin; his sister, Judy Lange, and brother-in-law, Tom Lange; and an infant granddaughter, Meaghan Burke. He will be greeted at the Rainbow Bridge by the wagging tails of Joe, Riffer, Jane, Daisy, Billy and Winnie.

A Memorial Service, with the urn present, will be held Saturday, March 5th at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E. Main St., Coleman, WI. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the Service at 11 A.M. Please visit
